Styles are the basics in Adobe Fireworks and it is very important to master their use at the very beginning if you intend to use Fireworks as the main tool of the trade. If you are familiar with Photoshop’s layer style than it is very similar thing with styles in Fireworks. But don’t worry if you don’t know Photoshop, if you are interested in Fireworks only you don’t need to know a thing about Photoshop.

Sunburst backgrounds became very popular across the web (and off the web just as well). Cannot tell if it is due to its hypnotic effect or something else but I like them and many people find them neat and very posh. Since we cannot argue and sunburst will be fashionable for quite some time in the near future let me show you how easy it it is to make one.

I believe the same principle can be applied with other main stream applications but I will show you how to do it using Adobe Illustrator.
